Ana's presentation

1° Why do you think some trailers are not as good as the movie?
2° Do you think that trailers are just showing the best scenes of the movie?
3° Can trailes make you think something completely different about the content of the movie?

::Cecilia and Valeria's presentation::

I didn't see the Cecilia and Valeria's presentation but my classmates told me something about it and also I saw their power point.

Their main topic was techonoly and how to use it in a good way. The girls give us some points that I found very interesting about why teachers think that tecnology is a problem. These ones are:

Point 1: As teachers we have to foster critical thinking (the problem is "passive" student---passive citizen)
Point2: Lessons are not given properly, students don’t take advantage of it, etc.

Also they talked about how we should use techonology in a good way. Sometimes students go to a computer lab for example and they waste their time using web pages that are not useful. So, the important thing here is that we motivate kids to use internet in way that help them to learn more.

And finally they talked about different points of view about internet. These ones are:

Technology is helping.
Technology is blinding us.
Teachers point of view e.g. Atenea v/s Saint George.
Vulnerable schools point of view.

To sum up. This presentation make us think about something simple as internet and the use that we are giving to it. So, now we have the point of view of teachers and students. We can do many things with internet. So, we have to use it in a wisely.

Marcela and I are going to prepare our critical thinking presentation in based on a film. We are not sure about whic movie we are going to choose yet.
